After many moons on Wordpress I've decided to switch to a Drupal setup. I had actually planned on building a news site on another domain using this open source CMS, but Drupal drove me nuts and I gave up.

This second time around it's being much more cooperative.

I've moved my archives over from the Wordpress site, however many of links are probably dead at this point. That's not Drupal's fault, but rather the effect of Bakersfield.com switching CMS. Most of our special projects got killed in the process. I know there has been talk of reviving some of them, but as you can imagine, new toys tend to get preference over old ones. So I'm resigned to them being gone.

At least they'll live on here in some form.

While my original site was primarly a place to showcase my work at Bakersfield.com, this site is more of an aggregation of my content online. You'll get my Tweets, my Flickr photos and eventually smaller feeds of my work Tweets and work blog.

I've got a couple other projects in the works that could also eventually become part of this site.
